How it Works

Local organizations team up with Fareground for a month of fundraising.

Fareground visitors submit their receipts (dated within the fundraising month) through Fareground’s online portal. $1 spent = 1 point earned (excluding tax and gratuity).

At the end of the month, donations will be determined based on the number of points earned in the fundraising period.

FAQs

  • -Eligible groups must hold tax-exempt status and provide certification of 501(c)3, 501(c)7, or 170(c)1

    -Organizations cannot be politically or religiously affiliated

  • -Participants must be 18 years of age or older

    -Qualifying receipts must be dated and submitted online between the agreed Program dates

    -Visit faregroundaustin.com/fundraising and click on “I’m a person and want to upload my fundraising receipt” to be directed to the online form

    -Participants will be required to fill out the online form that includes contact, email, phone, age, and zip code, and designate the participating organization

    -Participants will be required to upload a picture or copy of receipts and upload when prompted

    -Submit form online once required fields have been completed

  • -Receipts from in-person orders

    -e-Receipts from orders placed through the Fareground website

    -Receipts from orders placed through third party delivery services (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.)

    -Contracted events and parties do not qualify for fundraising

  • -Donation values are determined by the number of points earned through purchases in the partnership month.

    -Fareground visitors must submit their receipts through the online portal to count towards that month’s fundraising. $1 = 1point (excluding tax and gratuity).

    -Tier 1: 500 - 1,000 points = 5% donation

    -Tier 2: 1,001 - 3,000 points = 7.5% donation

    -Tier 3: 3,001+ points = 15% donation

    -ADDITIONAL DONATION: Organizations that submit 250 or more receipts will receive an additional $200 grant. Limitations exclude contracted events or BEO functions.
